Works are well under way in our Smooth Point Pier Extension project in Killybegs. We have already installed 35 of the 120 land-based piles which extend to 20m in depth. We are currently in the process of installing our temporary works platform to facilitate construction of the marine based piles for the new Combi-wall. Sorensen’s new dredging plant will mobilise in early November to commence dredging operations which include the removal of 10,000m3 of rock. Well done to the site team for co-ordinating and progressing the works safely in what is a restricted works area.
