It has been a very busy few weeks on the Safety front at Sorensen with our site teams getting to grips with the six themes of Construction Safety Week 2022 which has been rolled out throughout the month of October.

The Themes are:

? Lighthouse Club’s Help Inside a Hart Hat Campaign

? Safe Access & Egress

? Safe Working at Height

? Safe Control of Hazardous Energies

? Safety by Example

? Safe Use of Mobile Equipment

To coincide with Construction Safety Week, a Sorensen ‘Thumbs Up’ campaign is being rolled out across all our projects. Giving the plant operator a thumbs up takes no effort but can have life-saving consequences for those on site. This campaign forms part of our ‘Zero Risk’ Policy, which is a behavioural safety concept designed to change the mindset of all personnel on site to ensure that “everyone goes home safely”.

The Sorensen site teams must be commended for their positive and collaborative approach to the Construction Safety Week across all our projects. Keep up the good work!
