The N70 Brackaharagh Road Project is located on the Ring of Kerry between Caherdaniel and Castlecove and involves the realignment of 1.2km of the existing road and new cycletrack/footway. The ground conditions vary from a shear face of rock ranging in height from 2m – 10m to peat of up to 4m in depth. Work only commenced in November and already you can see the outline of the new road alignment! The bulk earthworks have been completed on the eastbound lane with drainage and utilities now well underway. The project is due for completion in November 2022.
