General Description
The Cork Lower Harbour Main Drainage Project, Sewerage Network Contract D consists of the design & construction of 5 no. marine outfalls, decommissioning of 22 no. marine outfalls, 3.65km of new gravity sewers & 3.3km of new rising mains. Design & Construction of 5 pumping stations complete with crossing pipelines, CSO and outfall pipeline, septicity control and surge protection for estuary crossing pipelines, odour and ventilation system, ESB substation, switch room, control room and all ancillary civil and mechanical works, jetty demolition and quay wall reinforcements, decommissioning of existing facilities, decommissioning of existing outfalls, as per Foreshore License, ESB ducting to provide power to pumping stations, advance ducting to facilitate street improvement project.
